GLEN OROUA
(From Our Own Correspondent.) Mrs VV. Hill has been visiting friends in Wellington. Mr and Mrs N. Angus spent the week-end in Wellington. The friends of Mr and Mrs J. Evans will regret to learn that their daughter, Josephine, has had to enter hospital. A euchre and dance party was held m the hall to farewell Mr and Mrs Arthur Saunders, who are leaving the district to reside at Foxton Beach. Mr D. Wi:kinson epoTe in appreciation of the good Mr and Mrs Saunders had done in the past six years in the district and presented them with a handsome cheque. Miss Mullins also presented them with a beautiful tray in appreciation from the Drama Club. June Boyce presented Mrs Saunders with a gift from the Brownie Pack, of which Mrs Saunders was secretary.
