In the Manawatu Croquet Association’s inter-club competitions this week’s results were :
Levin v. Manawatu (Levin players named first) : —Mrs Dalziell beat Mrs Richards, 26—10; Mrs Pine beat Mrs Davison, 26 —20; Mesdames Bagrie and Gilmour beat Mesdames Torstonson and Cutten, 26—11; Mesdames Fraser and Boulton beat Mesdames Turner and' Bradfield, 26 —18. Levin, 104 points; Manawatu, 59. Nicholson Mallets.—Mesdames McMurray and Zapper beat Mesdames Wood and Young, 26—18. Bennett Buttons: Mesdames Cutten and Blincoe lost to Mesdames Jamieson and Maule, 26—18.
