GENERAL PATCH DEAD
• LONDON, Nov. 22. / The deaths is announced of General Alexander Patch, who commanded the American Seventh Army in the drive into Germany. Before his transfer to the European theatre lie commanded the American land forces on Guadalcanal and in the South Pacific area.
