IMMEDIATE'S GOOD TRIAL SYDNEY, Feb. 27.

Immediate, second favourite for the Epsom Handicap, was the outstanding galloper in the final sprints. Accompanied by High Play, Immediate was untroubled to run six furlongs in 1.15. The last three furlongs were run in 38i. The time for the full journey was three seconds faster than that recorded by the Epsom favourite Shannon in his'final trial. Shannon also went easily throughout six furlongs. Silver Link, equal favourite with Flight for the Metropolitan, ran one of the' most outstanding nine-furlong trials seen at Randwick for years. He recorded 1.57. Sleepy Fox continued to record fine sprint.times today. He ran four furlongs in 50sec in his usual effortless style.
