PLANE PRODUCTION
(Rec 2.5 p.m.) NEW YORK, .Sent. 4. The Tokio radio says Japanese piano production was 550 a month in December, 1941, 2857 in June, 1944, 2000 early in 1945 and 1120 at the end of the war. The Super-Fortress raids and the deterioration of shipping caused the decline after July, 1944._ A further decrease occurred early in 1945 because of an earthquake in the Tokio area and the evacuation of factories.
