GERMANS' POISON GAS

(Hoc. 9.30 a.m.; LONDON, Sept. 4. The Germans had a war gas 100 times deadlier than the last war's mustard gas, says the Daily Express. It is revealed that the Germans had 10,000 >.tons of bombs and shells filled with this gas" and intended to use it as a final V-weapon to deal a knockout blow by dropping gas cargoes on Britain.

Scientific workers of the I.G. Faiben laboratories discovered this colourless gas. They worked in special rubber clothing which they changed 10 times in each shift; nevertheless, some of the workers were killed through the gas seeping through to the skin.
