The track at Awaptini continues to improve and is now in ideal order, with the result that better tim-e-s are being' registered in the work. The polos on the course proper were about 30ft out this morning.

Specialist (A Wadclell) and Ideation (Head) dashed over three furlongs in 39 3.550 c. and did it wc.l.

Sir Bradbury (Tatfersall) and Lord Bradbury (A. Waddell) ran half a mile in 55 l-ssec. Botli are fairly forward. Gay Rouen (Murray) and .Purple Dawn (Thomson) lelt five furlongs behind in 1.12, and in a similar task Fen {Tattersaii) and Bouton d'Or (A. Waddell) registered 1.11.
