The Fire Brigade at 2 p.m. yesterday attended a small grass fire in Cook Street, near its junction with Ferguson Street. Dry grass had carried the flames to a fence bounding a vacant section formerly occupied by Messrs Coutts's sawmill, and the fence was commencing to burn. No trouble was exuerienced in suppressing the outbreak.
