THEFT FROM SHOP

(Press Assn.) AUCKLAND, Aug. 24. Thieves who broke into the Westmere Butchery, Grey Lynn, last night, stole £3OO in notes, the property of the proprietor, Mr J. Crawley. The thieves entered by tearing away a sheet of gauze covering a window at the rear of the shop, the money stolen having been hidden under the counter in the shop.
