BALFOUR—On August 23, 1945, at Palmerston North, Archibald Watt, dearly beloved husband ot Jessie Balfour, 66 Limbrick Street, Palmerston North; aged 79 years. “Jesus said I am the Resurrection and the Life.” STRINGER.—On August 24, 1945,_ at. his residence, 1 Alanchcstcr Street, Fcilding, John Stringer, beloved sen of the late John, and Ellen Stringer; in his 77th year/ “At Rest.” TIERNEY.—On August 20, 1945, at To Puke (suddenly), 11/972, 9th Hawke’s Bay, Wellington Reg., Michael Martin (Mick), eldest son of the late Mr and Mrs Tierney, of Palmerston North, and loving brother of Jack, Tom, Alai and Mesdames Kellihcr, Cook, and Fowler; aged 50 years. R. 1.8. Interred at Tauranga.
