FUTURE AIR TRANSPORT
JET-PROPELLED CR AFT. (Rec. 11.40 a.m.) LONDON, Aug. 22 Sir Roy Dobson, managing-director of A. V. Roe, Ltd., builders of the Lancaster bomber and the York and Tudor transport pianos, has announced that his firm is considering the construction of a jet-propelled a : rliner designed to operate at high speeds and accommodating 50 sitting passengers or 22 sleepers, and with a range of more than 4000 miles.
