Immediate and High Play arrived a l -. Wellington yesterday on route to Australia. Their trainer, E. J.. Ellis, said that both would race at the A.J.C. spring meeting at Randwick. L. Hare will accompany the team and will ride High Play. L. Cluttcrbuck has been engaged to ride First In in her Australian engagements. He will be riding at New Plymouth and will leave for Australia early in September.

The young Awapuni trainer E. Temperton is "gradually getting a good team together, the latest addition being First Footing, a three-year-old son of Kincardine —Sunny Sky, who won two races in the carlv part of last season. With the object of raising funds for the physical welfare of the youth of Foxton and district, a victory gymkhana under the auspices of the Foxton Racing Club will bo held on Saturday on the Foxton racecourse. A most interesting programme has been drawn up, comprising galloping, trotting, pony races and a two-year-old parade. As the object is a worthy one, a large attendance is expected.
