HARVEST IN GERMANY

A long period of unbroken rain inGermany, which gravely damaged the harvest," is causing anxiety, says til Daily Telegraph correspondent at General Montgomery's headquarters. The harvest promised to yield a <rood crop, but the weather will certainly reduce it to well below normal, necessitating the importation of further supplies to prevent widespread famine.
