SYDNEY. Aug. 20. The New Zealand galloper Sleepy Fox, top weight at 9.11 in the handicaps issued today for the Epsom Handicap, lias been paid full respect by the A.J.O. handicapper. Comparatively, Sleepy Fox is disrated as a stayer with 9.1 in the Metropolitan Handicap, or only sixth on the list. The Sun's racing editor says that Sleepy Fox will have to be all that his reputation suggests to win the Epsom Handicap with 9.11. The highest weight carried to victory in the Epsom is 10.2 by Marvel in 1391. Chatham won with 9.10 in 1933, Amounis with 9.7 in 1928. Silver Ring with 9.6 in 1934, and High Caste with 9.5 in 1940.
