ALL SAINTS' CHURCH
The Bishop of Wniapn (Kt. "Rev. 0. C. Gruiokshank), who was deputising for the Bishop of Wellington (Rt. Rev. IT. .Holland); conducted the service of confirmation at All Saints' Church yesterday morning. There were 52 candij dates. In his address to the candij dates His Lordship took as his theme the baptismal promises, stressing the need to fight against wrong, to believe what was true, and to do what was right. He urged the candidates to choose callings that would give full scope to all that was best in them and bring joy as well. He emphasised the necessity for purity of intention and the need for practice in the presence of God.
