RIOTS IN NOVA SCOTIA

Scenes of destruction unequalled since an ammunition ship exploded at Halifax in the last war- greeted the city this morning after the victory riots y which also occurred in a smaller mea-, sure at Dartmouth, across the harbour from Halifax, Kentville, 50 miles away, and Sydney, in the Cape Breton mining district. Some naval- ratings described the riots as protests against the way they were treated by Halifax landlords and merchants.
