CLASHES IN OSLO
GERMANS AND PATRIOTS
(Rec. 10.40 a.m.) LONDON, May 9. Many people were killed in clashes in Oslo last night between the_ Germans and Norwegian patriots, ' saj'S Reuter's Oslo correspondent. Thousands of people celebrating the peace had to run for their lives when hand grenades were thrown and shots fired. Firing and heavy detonations con-. tinued for some hours.
The British United Press correspondent in Copenhagen reports tliat British troops are helping to mop up the quislings in Copenhagen.
