WOMEN'S WORLD

It was with a sharp sense of loss that the many friends of Mrs Dorothy May Lawson, wife of Mr A. G. Lawson, of Langston Avenue, heard of her death, which occurred on Sunday, April 29, after a very brief illness. Mr Lawson was also seriously indisposed at the time. The late Mrs Lawson was a valued member of the A.N.A. dance, committee and'was also a committee member and former president of the Manawatu County Club. Her sterling qualities and gentle nature won the respect and affection of all who knew her. Numerous floral tributes testified to the high esteem in which she was held by a wide circle of friends and to their sympathy for those left to mourn her passing.
