BANK PURCHASE
(Press Assn.) GISBORNE, May 7. The Minister of Finance (Air Nash) has assured tho Gisborne-East CoastWar Loan Committee that the Government has no intention to pay out of the 1915 Victorv AYar Loan the privately-owned shareholdings of the Bank of New Zealand. The procedure for buying private shareholdings will probably be on similar lines to that adopted in taking over the Reserve Bank and the State Advances Corporation.
