The Southern' Hawke's Bay croquet tournament held at Dannevirke was concluded on Tuesday, the following being the results of the games in which Palmerston North players participated: Open championship singles, first 'life.— Final: Mrs Bingham beat Mrs Langford, Palmerston North, 26—19. The open championship went to Mrs Bingham (Dannevirke), who beat the winner of the second life, Mrs Galvin, 26—9, 26—22. Women's singles: Mrs Langford beat Mrs Bingham, 26—23. In the final Mrs Langford beat Mrs Hicks (Dannevirke), 26—24, after a keen contest. Handicap singles.—Section 1: Mrs Langford beat Mrs Colwill (Palmerston North), 26—22. Final: Mrs Langford beat Mrs 11. Browne (Dannevirke), 26—14. Championship doubles: Mesdames Browne and Hides beat Mesdames Burkinshaw and McDonald (Palmerston North), 26—10. Final: Mesdames Browne and Hicks (Dannevirke) beat Mr and Mrs Kcay (Timaru), 26—17.
