Y.M.C.A.
The annual meeting of tho Y.M.G'.A. Indoor Basketball League was hold at the Y.M.G'.A. rooms in Grey Street, on Wednesday evening. Mr C. Woods, general secretary of the Y.M.G'.A., presided over a largo gathering of players representing both women and men's teams. Several new teams made application for entry into the competitions, and the indications are (hat a record season will be experienced. The chairman detailed a scheme whereby teams may have ample time for practice games in the gymnasium at tho Y.M.C.A. Games for the purpose of grading will commence on April 9 and the competition games early in May. The committee hopes to arrange early in the season representative games against Wanganui, Masterton, Hutt Valley and Wellington.
