WOMEN'S BASEBALL
Play in the New Zealand women's Dominion baseball (softball) championships was continued this morning in fine but blustery weather. Only senior games were played and Manawatu is still leading, having beaten Wellington today. Additional results are:—Manawatu 5 v. Wellington 4; Canterbury 22 v. South Auckland, 7; Wanganui 6 v. Otago 1; Auckland 6 v. South Canterbury 4.
