PREFERENCE FOR SWITZERLAND LONDON, Jan. 4.

Nine leading German diplomatic officials of the German colony in Switzerland have deserted Hitler and have refused to return to Germany when recalled, according to reports published in the Socialist newspaper Volksrecht, says Reuter's Zurich correspondent. They are Dr. Exrauel, German Consul-General at Geneva in the autum of 1943; Kramer, Berne correspondent of" the Voelkiseher Beobachter; Dr. Reibstein, chief Berne correspondent of. the German News Agency; Dr. Tramp, Press attache to the Berne Legation; Prince Alois Auerspcrg, assistant air attache; Graf and Eber, culture attaches; and Gisevius and AVaetjen, German Consuls in Switzerland.
