STAFFING OF HOSPITALS
(Press Assn.) WELLINGTON, Jan. 5. Auckland is to take the same steps for staffing its new hospitals as have already been taken in Wellington. All unmarried women aged 21 to 23 in the Auckland Manpower District are to be called in for an interview immediately and classified in order of priority of individual circumstances and directed to meet the urgent staffing needs of the 39th General Hospital in accordance with their priority classifications. This is announced by the Minister of industrial Manpower (Mr McLagan).
