N.Z. MUNITIONS CONTRACTS
(Rec. 12.30 p.m.) OTTAWA, Jan. 4. An Order in Council published today disclosed that Canada has assumed financial obligation for all munitions contracts held by New Zealand in Canada at July 1, 1944, and subsequently. The cost is estimated not to exceed £1,500,000 dollars. The expenditure will come under the mutual aid programme.
