Miss N. Christophers, of Lower Hutt, is the guest of Mr and Mrs L. V. Bishop, of Pahiatua Street. The golden wedding anniversary of Mr and Mrs R. N. Blakiston, of Dannevirke, was celebrated recently. On December 22, 1894, Mr Reginald Blakiston and Miss Constance Ann Hunter, were married in St. John's Church, Dannevirke, by Rev. E. Robertshawe. Mr Blakiston is the fourth sou of the late Mr C. R. Blakiston of Christchurch, and his wife is the second daughter of the late Mr W. Hunter, of Porangahau.
