MOVING FACTORIES
JAPAN'S WAR MACHINE
TRANSFER TO MANCHURIA (N.Z. Press Association. —Copyright.) (Rec. noon) CHUNGKING, Dec. 22. The Japanese have conscripted large numbers of labourers in North China to help to move war factories from Japan's mainland to Manchuria as a consequence of American air raids, according to reports which have been received in Chungking. Thirteen important factories have already been transferred. For the fifth time this month American Super-Fortresses Utscd on Saipan have struck at N;.-;o.va, Japan's third biggest city and the home of Mitsubishi aircraft, says a 8.8. C. correspondent.
