KILLED BY AVALANCHE
(Roe. 11.40 a.m.) NEW YORK, Dec. 23. Twenty-one war workers were killed at Aliqnappa (Pennsylvania) when a 100 ft embankment wall of melting snow and dirt collapsed and struck a bus on a main highway, smashing it 'ike a paper box. Only four of the occupants survived the avalanche.
