DELAYED WOOL PAYMENT
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Dec. 24. Under instructions from the president (Mr Mulholland), the Dominion Secretary of. the New Zcalan ,d Farmers 'Union (Mr A. P. O'Sliea) has handed to the Press a resolution typical of many from all over the Dominion protesting against the action of the Government in regard to 15 per cent, increase in the wool price granted by the Imperial Government.
Mr O'Shea says there is considerable restiveness among the farmers on this matter, aggravated by the Government's delay in bringing the question to finality. The resolution again represents a call for Government recognition of its moral obligation to pay the increase over to wool growers, and draws public attention to the manner in which the Government has ignored the rights of primary producers to receive the full price for their produce.
