AKYAB AND LASHIO
FURTHER ALLIED RAIDS. LONDON, Dec. 22. There is no further news of the land fighting in Burma, but the R.A.F. has again bombed the port of Akyab, where bombs caused damage to the airfield and gnnposts. A river steamer was also hit. Two of our planes failed to return. United States bombers again attacked Lashio, the western terminus of the Burma Road. All of the American planes returned.
