AWARDS TO AIRMEN
(Press Assn.l WELLINGTON. Nov. 9. Proof of the sterling qualities of ijew Zealanders serving overseas was given the Minister of Defence (Air Jones) v\ hen he announced that the total awards now won bv New Zealand air personnel had readied 303. Air Jones said that only six months ago he announced that the second hundred had been passed. A largo percentage of New Zealanders serving with the R.A.F. at the outhreak of war had been decorated. Included in the total are one V.C.. 11 DS.O X 74 D.F.C., 11 D.F.C. with bar, 64 D.F.AI. and one AI.C.
