(Press Assn.) CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 7 To-day's Addington market showed little variation in values from the good rates ruling recently. Store sheep: Wethers sold well at from 15s 9d to 24s 9d. The hogget entry was mostly confined to ewes, the best selling up to 365. Another pen mado 35s 6d, but prices generally wore down by Is 6d a head. Ewes and lambs made up to 17s 6d, all counted, with prices ranging mostly round 13s to 15s. Fat sheep: Southern ewes mado from 46s to 51s Id., the highest price of the season for owes; good ewes, 34s to 40s; light, down to 265. Shorn ewes, 30s lOd; heavy wothers, up to 50s; good, 42s to 475; light, to 375; shorn wethers, to 40s.

Fat cattle.—Seven heavyweight steers from the West Coast averaged £27 Is, the top pen making £27 12s 6d. Another pen of 15 steers from Banks Peninsula averaged £2l 12s, tops making £25 12s 6d. Heifers ranged about £l6, tops making to £l7 17s 6d. Best qua'ltybeef ranged from 48s to 51s 1001 b; special medium-weights, to 52s 6d; good and heavy, from 45s to 48s; medium, 40s to 435; secondary, down ro 355.
