MELODY DANCES
The P.D.C. Jade ballroom was the scene of largo and happy gatherings for the week-end Melody dances, conducted by Winifred R. Hubbard. Bright, snappy music was supplied by a leading orchestra, while the duties of M.O. were capably carried out by Mr J. YV. Beck. After supper had been served by the Melody committee, appreciative extras were kindly rendered by Miss P. King, Messrs G. Dawson and Keys, also an exhibition of drumming by Mr Alar. Brown (of the Air Force). All were encored many times by the patrons. A number of lucky novelty dances were also presented. Before the evenings were brought to a close the M.O. thanked the. patrons for their attendance and announced the next Melody dances to bo hold as usual this Friday and ~ Saturday in the Jade ballroom, when very attractive programmes will be presented. Patrons are advised to ailend lhe~e dancers. ,
