Camellias in various shades of pink decorated St. Andrew’s Church, Palmerston North, for the marriage, which took place recently, of June Evelyn, elder daughter of Mr and Mrs J. Davidson, of Eitzroy Street, Palmerston North, to Kenneth Raymond, only son of Mr W. 11. Hill and the lato Mrs Hill, of Wellington. The servico was conducted by Rev. R. Warnock, and Mrs J. Emmett was the organist. The bride, 1 who was given away by her father, wore a gown of magnolia satin with insets of lace at the yoke and sleeves. A coronet of orange blossom topped her long embroidered net veil, and a floral fan composed of freesins and maidenhair fern was an appropriate finish to the old-world charm of her gown. The bridesmaids, Miss Gloria Davidson (the bride’s sister) and Miss Peggy Robertson, of Palmerston North, attended her, wearing picturesque frocks in ice-blue satin fashioned on the samo lines as that of the bride. Their blue embroidered veils were, held in place with floral bandeaux and they carried fans of cyclamen, hyacinths and fern. Flying-Oflicer J. Cane was best man and Cadet Officer Ewan Davidson groomsman, while the ushers at the church were Flying-Officer K. Davidson, and Lieutenant M. Davidson, the three last named boing brothers of the bride. During the signing of the register Miss L. McDonald sang delightfully Handel’s “Whcr’er You Walk.” As the bride left the church a lucky horseshoe in silver was presented to her by Richard Robertson. Afterwards, Mr and Mrs Davidson received their guests a* the P.D.C. rooms, which were massed with spring flowers in shades of cream and blue. Mrs Davidson wore a black model frock with black satin relief and a small black toque with soft heliotrope feather, her posy being in shades of mauve and cream. Miss Jones, of Wellington, aunt of the bridegroom, assisted, wearing a navy ensemble and hat to tone, with nosy in shades of lavender and pink. The usual toasts were honoured and felicitations offered, and when the bride and bridegroom left later on their honeymoon the bride appeared for travelling in a cicl blue model frock with hat to tone and black coat. Prior to her wedding, the bride, who is a popular member of the city’s younger set, was entertained at a number of gift parties.
