Estates of a value of £682,340 were acceptod for administration by the Public Trustee during August, 1942 The total value of the estates and funds under administration by the Public 'Trustee on March 31, 1942, was £64,685,685, and new business for tho five months ended August 31 was £2,936,589 Grants of administration madd by the Court in favour of tho Public Trustee numbered 226 for August, when 995 new wills appointing the Public Trustee executors were prepared on behalf of testators and lodged for safe custody, and 400 existing wills were revised. The number of wills now hold in tho Public Trust Office is 117,843.
