POSITION IN AUSTRALIA
(Rec. 9.5 a.m.) SYDNEY, March 26. Rand wick racecourse will be available for the Warwick Farm meeting next Saturday, but thereafter will be closed for the duration. This announcement was made at Canberra, to-day. The Australian Jockey Club authorities are unable to give any further information regarding the Doncaster Handicap and Sydney Cup set down for Rnndwick on April 4 and April 11. The whole future of racing in this and probably other Slates is now in the melting pot. There is still a prospect of the Randwiek autumn meeting being held at tlie Victoria Park course.
