INDIAN MEASURE. (Rec. 11 a.m.) SIMLA. July 21. The Government has announced an extension of the import control to conserve exchange respecting countries outside the sterling area, also to reduce the adverse trade balance with certain countries, particularly Japan. Imports from China are subjected to restrictions, but goods produced and manufactured in China which arc imported from Burma across the BurmaChitia land frontier will be admitted freelv.
