TEN DEGREES REGISTERED. Yet another white frost was experienced in Feilding this morning, when the visitation was the heaviest recorded lor many years in this district, according to Mr F. Mason, of Sandon Road, who measured 10 degrees. ''We have had seven frosts on end, and this morning's was the heaviest of them all," said Mr Mason, who added that so iar this month there have heen nine frosts. Usually the intensity of the visitations is between 5 and G degrees. Roses winch have heen pruned will suffer, as the plants will have been frostbitten, btu fruit trees will not he adversely affected as they can stand frosts, it was stated. It is most unusual to have such a sequence of frosts in July, but, generally speaking, such weather is better than continual rain.
