THIRTEEN JURORS.

Tito unusual and amusing sight of 13 men trying to take the 12 seats provided for the jury was witnessed j in the Supreme Court yesterday. The Court resumed the hearing of a ctLse which had been commenced on Tuesday and the jurors again took their seats. One man who had l>een culled for possible service on a jury yesterday mistakenly believed that lie had been selected as a juryman for this particular case and ho and a member of the jury found some difficulty in settling themselves in the one chair. r J he Chief •Justice (Tit. Hon Sir Michael Myers) remarked with amusement that there appeared to he some competition for scats on the jury to-day!
