. r , „ RUGBY. May 31. I he first cargo of food sent to Britain under the machinery of th’e American Lease and Lend A'ct has arrived m a British ship at a British port. The shipload included 120,000 pounds of cheese. 4.000.000 eggs.' and 1000 tons of flour. Cases of machine tools recently arrived from the United States of America contained parcels of evaporated milk for distribution where needed. The milk was sent for children in a heavily-raided area.
