BUNNYTHORPE.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) There was a very largo gathering at the all-day meeting of the Brethren on Saturday, when inspiring addresses were given. At a meeting of the Patriotic Committee tho secretary reported that the amount subscribed for "patriotic purposes to date was £550. Arrangements were made to tender a farewell this week to Messrs Bennett, Marks and Puklowski, who arc on leave. The friends of Mr E. Eastwood, of Masterton, will regret to hear of his death, which' occurred" on May 31. The deceased was a keen follower of athletic sports. He resided in the Bunnythorpe clistri. t for some years and married a daughter of the late Mr and Mrs P. Schcidt, of tins village. The Cmnvthorpe football team, on Saturday, at Keilding, got a last-minuto score to record a win by 16 points to 15. The friends of Mr and Mr.- .1. 1. Hill will regret to hear that their son Alick is reported missing.
