COMPETITIONS FESTIVAL
The Manawatu Competitions Society will open its annual festival on Monday next at 10 a.in. There is an excellent ••nlrv of competitors and the three stages at the Opera House, the Little Theatre, and the Empire Itall will bo occupied most of tlie week with the various , sections which include, vocal and instrumental music, elocution, operatic dancing, and national dancing.
