AUCTIONEERS’ NOTE.—Mr Galvin has spared no expenses over a period of 21 years in building up this outstanding herd, and has used only high producing butterfat sires with wonderful results for butterfat and test, and for the 1930-40 season topped the Whakarongo-Ashhurst Herd Testing Group with an average of 3691 bs butterfat in an average of 254 days with a 5.9 test. We have inspected the herd which are in tip too order and condition, all dehorned*. and 30 of the offering are 2nd and 3rd calvers. These cows having been bred on elevated country at Pohangina, will shift wonderfully well to fresh pastures, and we have no hesitation in recommending the attendance of buyers.
