CLOUDY WITH SHOWERS. Per Presg Association. WELLINGTON, March 25. A deep depression, centred east of the North Island is filling up. An anticyclone covers the Tasman Sea and southern New Zealand. The forecast is. for moderate to strong south-westerly winds, later tending westerly. The weather will he cloudy, with passing showers. Temperatures cool. Seas rough.
The rainfall recorded at West End for the 24 hours ending 9.30 a.m. on March 25 was 69 points. The total for the month to date is 3.81 in and the total for the year to date is 10.28 in.
