Berlin.—The News Agency says the Military Commander of the Netherlands announces that fifteen persons convicted of. sabotage and espionage have been shot. Death sentences passed on three other persons have been commuted to life imprisonment. London.—The Newsprint Supply Council announces that the penny dailies after March 16 will have three four-page and three six-page papers a week. 'A further substantial cut will be necessary, probably in the middle of April. St. Augustine (Florida).— Craig Wood and a professional, Frank Strafaci, bettered par figures defeating their opponents 3 and 2 in the first round of the ' national amateur and professional best-ball golf championship. J. Ferrier (Australia) and a professional partner, Ralph Gudahl, were eliminated. . Madrid.—The death roll in the magazine explosion at St. Seville is feared to be fifty, with 480 injured; 2500 are homeless.
