FIGHTING IN AFRICA.
PROGRESS IN ABYSSINIA. (British Official Wireless.) (Rec. 1.27 p.m.) RUGBY, March 14. In addition to announcing the capture by Abyssinian patriots of Yavello (Abyssinia), reported officially from Nairobi last night, a Cairo communique states: "in Libya and Eritrea there is no change. British troops m Abyssinia occupied Asosa and are nowadvancing along the Mendi road. "Continuing their successful advance from Burye, during which they liaye continued to inflict serious casualties on the retreating enemy, patriot forces have now reached the vicinity of Debra Markos."
