UNDER .authority delegated to me by provisions of the above Regulations, and by direction of the Dominion Lighting Controller I give notice. I.—That proprietors of the Gaseous Discharge tubing and incandescent advertising signs or other illuminations situated on buildings which can emit either direct or reflected light are forthwith to disconnect such' lighting. 2.—That under-veranda lighting which is deemed to contribute materially toward reflection from the street surface is to be either reduced in wattage; screened from the street, or slu-ouded in such a way as to eliminate reflections from the street. 3.—That where the local Lighting Controller considers that shop window light, either due to the position or its intensity is contravening the Regulations, such steps as are directed by the Controller are at once to be taken to make the necessary alterations. 4.—That the owners or occupiers of buildings, whether shops, factories, houses or any other form of building, which have windows facing the open sea. are at once to take steps which will make it impossible for a light burning behind such windows to be visible "from the open sea; and further, that all outdoor lights on private property are to be cither removed or so screened that neither direct nor reflected light from them will be visible from the open sea.
