Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, March 13. Corsets ancf, their uses provided a basis for discussion at the No. 1 Armed Forces Appeal Board this morning, when an application for adjournment of service was entered on behalf of Thomas George Galloway, stated to be a male employee in a corset factory. The'ground, of the appeal was stated to be public interest and the case was outlined by the executive of the firm concerned, A. Galloway, father of the reservist. He said one of his cutters was now oil Territorial duty at the forts and one had enlisted and was waiting to be called up for service overseas. "My son could go to-morrow if I could release him,” he added. “I am only asking for «m adjournment.” The appeal was dismissed with a proviso that the reservist should not be called for service before June 1.
