WEDDING.
CUTLER—BROAVNE
The wedding was solemnised quietly at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Cnurch, Invercargill, on Monday, December 23, of Flora, only daughter of Mr and Mrs A. Browne, Pukemaori, and Private Arthur Cutler, son of Mrs Cutler and- the late Mr AV. Cutler, Palmerston North. Rev. C. J. Tocker performed the ceremony and Mrs A. E. H. Bath played the organ. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a model frock of Marina blue crepe silk with square neckline relieved by rows of pin tucks running from shoulder to hips. She wore a wide-brimmed felt hat of deeper shade, and a shoulder spray of pale pink carnations. Miss Peggy Sim. as bridesmaid, wore a frock of deep lilac silk suede cloth, with shoulder spray of sweet peas in shades to tone, and a white toque. Mr Tom Browne, brother of the bride, was groomsman. After the ceremony'Mrs Browne was hostess at luncheon 'in the Tudor Lounge. She wore a teal-blue tailored costume, brown hat and accessories, and her shoulder spray was of white rosebuds. For travelling the bride wore a saunter coat of teal and fawn checked Harris tweed over her en-, semble, and navy blue accessories. Private and Mrs A. S. H. Cutler will reside temporarily in Christchurch.
