REGULATIONS CAUSE PROTEST

The "West Coast Trades Council unanimously adopted a resolution protesting against the amendment to the public safety emergency regulations under the heading of obstruction of essential industries, giving t'he Attorney-General power •to terminate the engagement of any employee in an industry, -which could mean expulsion from a union."" The council also recommended affiliations strongly to protest.
